The Recess Project is a partnership between Canadian Universities, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, and school boards. The goal is to promote engagement, inclusion, positive interactions, and physically active play during recess. We have designed a program that places university students in schools to provide:
More opportunities to get involved
Areas designed for optimal play
Additional play equipment
